| Until the delivery of Vale Brasil in 2011 she was the longest and largest iron ore carrier in the world.. Due to her size, she can only enters 2 ports in the world: Terminal Marítimo de Ponta da Madeira in Brazil and Europort Rotterdam in The Netherlands. In Rotterdam, she can only enters with high sealevel and calm weather as the max depth of the "eurogeul" is only 24m. After each discharge of the carrier the holds are being treated in order to prevent wear of the steel. |
