the colourful hull was painted by the Chinese pop artist, Jacky Tsai, who designed a romantic scene between a mermaid and an astronaut.

Following the insolvency of parent company Genting Hong Kong, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Dream Cruises collapsed and World Dream was then laid up in Singapore and sold at auction December 2022

World Dream was auctioned to Cruise Saudi in 2023 and renamed Manara and went a major refit at Bremerhaven (DE).
In July 2024, Aroya Cruises confirmed the name of their first vessel as the Aroya, which is a combination of the words Arabian and Roya, translating to vision or dream
