On 19/08/2014, she was carrying out the regular line services between the ports of Puerto Montt and Puerto Natal (both Chile), sunk along Paso Kirke, 60 kilometers southwest of Puerto Natales, which is about 400 kilometers south of Chile's capital Santiago, after hitting a rock.
400 cattle died in the accident and oil was spilled into the ocean.

It was reported that 17 passengers of the ship and 28 crew members were evacuated from the vessel by a Coast Guard vessels.

She was later on declared total loss
