In 2007, the ship was rebuilt with a new bow section, giving her a modern look and the capacity increased with 105 cars

On 14/10/2018, while onroute from Drammen (Norway) towards Cuxhaven (Germany), near Helgoland, she suffered a fire in the engine room.
The crew was unable to extinguish the fire and German fire fighters were airlifted onboard to put the fire out.

She was towed to Cuxhaven, but the damage was too high for the 35 years old vessel and she was declared total loss.
She left the port 10/01/2019 under tow towards Aliaga (Turkey)
